Wirral Triumph Owners MCC Weekend Rides
HI EVERYBODY,
I’m sorry about the short notice but there will be a very nice ride, proposed by Stu Shepherd, happening this Sunday morning, 24th April 2022, to the top of the Great Orme a Llandudno.
The route will take us via the visitor’s centre at Llyn Brenig reservoir for a comfort break on the way out and Mavericks Cafe near Flint on the way home.
Meet up with myself and any others at the Shell Garage on the A494 at New Brighton, Mold, CH7 1UE at 11.45am.
This ride is open as usual to all members of the TOMCC and friends on any model Triumph or foreign contraption you care to ride. It will be, for most people about 140 miles round trip.
I have, I hope attached the TomTom satnav route to this message ( I still don’t know how to do it for other satnavs) so the details are as follows:
OUTBOUND. Shell Garage – A494 to Ruthin – B5105 through the Clogaenog forrest to Cerrigydridion – turn right onto B4501 to Llyn Brennig visitor’s centre.
Continue on B4501 to T junction turning right onto A543 – left turn onto A544 to Llansannan. Continue on A544 to Llanfair Talhaigrn and continue on A548 turning left at Betws Yn Rhos onto B5381 then A470 into Llandudno.
RETURN. Via Penrhyn Bay on B5115 to Colwyn Bay – across the A55 on A547 to Old Colwyn – Abergele Road ( A547) to Rhuddlan – A5151 to Dyserth – turn left at Garsedd towards Carmel on A5026. At Carmel turn left onto Mertyn Lane and then right onto Isgarn Road to A548.
From there it’s a short right left to Mavericks or turn right to Flint and home.
