Introduction

Wirral Triumph Owners Club are the official hosts of a Triumph 120 Ride-Out. 

The ride will start and finish at The Wheatsheaf, Raby, Wirral, CH63 4JH,

  to celebrate 120 years of Triumph Motorcycles.

On The Day

Sunday 7th August 2022

The ride will be leaving The Wheatsheaf at 10.30am prompt.

All registered riders to arrive at The Wheatsheaf, 30 mins before departure, to be book-in.

There will be an overview of the route, scheduled stops and riding etiquette. etc.   

All participating riders who ride on a Triumph will receive a complimentary commemorative patch.

Time Table For Sunday

10:00 Assemble at the Wheatsheaf for photo shoot and briefing on the Triumph 120 ride. Steve Barnes will lead the ride, Dave Pearson and Peter Griffiths will act as marshalls within the group and Dave Malam will bring up the rear.
10:30 Depart the Wheatsheaf via Willaston, A540 Chester High Road and A41 to Prees Heath for lunch at the Raven cafe/Midway Truckstop.
12:30 Depart Prees Heath for ride to Sleap Airfield via Prees Green B5065 and Wem B5476.
13:30 Depart Sleap Airfield for the Ponderosa via Myddle, A528 Cockshutt, Ellesmere, Overton, A539 Ruabon and Llangollen.
15:00 Depart Ponderosa A542, A5104 via Penyffordd A550 and return to the Wheatsheaf at Raby for a BBQ, music and Carnival Brewing company special promotion. Commemorative patches will be distributed to Triumph riders who registered for the 120 Ride before 18th July.

Make sure you have a full tank of petrol before setting off. There is a petrol station at our stop at Prees Heath for anyone needing a top-up.

All interested must be registered by 18th July 2022

Anyone wishing to take part in this ride-out is welcome.

All makes of motorcycle are also welcome (we might be able to convince you a Triumph is better)

Final Note

All participating motorcycles and their riders must be road legal, with appropriate insurance and road tax.

All riders should, always obey the rules of the road, and emergency procedures, even if it means being separated from the group.
